A Different Approach for Sensing Disruption

Spectrum sensing vulnerabilities in cognitive radio networks can significantly degrade performance. Most disruption attacks the current literature involve spoofing of free bands used for by making them appear busy. In this study, we proposed a different approach disruptions. We examined optimal strategy an intelligent adversary with given power to flip busy and make free. The mechanism was established contaminating noise measurements. This is illustrated two-step scheme which energy detection, conjunction estimation, secondary users. show that bands, link disruptions equal-power, partial-band flipping. demonstrated maximum average number missed detections be derived under constraint on adversary. Through analytical numerical results, effectiveness our terms impact spectrum sensing.
